(No. xxxx) Hi! My name is Ralphy and I'm a 5 year old Basenji mix. I was found as a stray over a year ago and my owners never came for me. I have quite the personality which you'd fall in love with in a heartbeat. I have a burst of energy and love to play and then when I'm done, I'm calmer. I am a very gentle dog. I'm afraid of meeting new people and attach on to those I know and love. With familiar people, I am a mush and love to give hugs and kisses. I even think I'm a human because I prefer walking on my two back legs. I don't jump because I prefer being next to you. I'm a little bit of a barker with people and animals I do not know. I prefer slow introductions because quick ones startle me. A home without small children, no dogs or cats would be the best for me. I like being the center of attention. I'm housebroken and love to run outside. I even will run next to my family or wait for them to catch up. Sometimes I looked like a deer because I prance around. When it comes to bath time, I'll give you a very sad face but then I'll run right next to you and lay down. I'm a lover and not a fighter. I am very smart, and will sit when you tell me because I listen fantastically. The staff and volunteers treat me wonderfully and spoil me. I cannot thank them enough for working with me and I cannot wait to meet my new family so I can continue to learn and be worked with all the time.
